Signal x BarrowFull’s Saturday Squad is a free creative group running year-round during term-time. You’ll learn how to tell stories using film and digital art, get hands on with professional tech, try new things, make friends and grow in confidence.

You don’t need any previous experience – we welcome everyone. Our friendly team of professional filmmakers and artists will help you explore new ways to create and express yourself. The course includes practical workshops with filmmakers, artists and industry professionals, and creative sessions in inspiring places.

You’ll develop skills in filming, editing, animation, set building, sound, visual effects, photography, digital image-making and more! Along the way you’ll experiment, work in teams, and create your own original films and artwork.

Our dedicated youth workers will make sure every Club member gets wrap-around support, including for access needs. Parents, caregivers or teachers are encouraged to share any needs to help us understand how to help their young people get the most out of the club.

2-5pm: Get stuck into creative activities and filmmaking for the first 2 hours, then stick around for a relaxed, optional hour of games, films, experimenting and getting to know each other.
